Our Story
The Beginning
The Minchey Children Foundation was founded in 1999 by Nathan and Gretchen Minchey. Nathan Minchey has played professional baseball since 1987 with the Montreal Expos, the Atlanta Braves, the Boston Red Sox, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Colorado Rockies. He also played overseas with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Tokyo.

The Reason
Through special events, the Minchey Children Foundation raises money for charities that help kids. The Foundation provides support for groups involved in helping under-privileged children, single-parent families, families in crisis, as well as faith-based groups such as churches and missionaries.
